The U.S. web giant Google on Tuesday launched an online tool to search for tickets, call Flight Search and for now only works with some U.S. cities.
The new service was integrated into the Google search page, a user seeking information from a flight may well go directly to a function “flights”, as already exists for images, videos, books and news.
Flight Search arose from the purchase by Google this year’s ITA company specializing in data on airline prices, 700 million.
“Since then, our engineers worked closely together to devise a new tool that can deliver results faster, more flexible and useful for online travel search,” Google said in one of their sites.
For now, this tool, which can also be accessed through “google.com / flights”, provides information on departure and return economy class for a number of American cities. Later added more features and cities, said Google.
